What We Do

The Neighborhood Student Success Collaborative (NSSC) is responsible for administrative procedures and academic monitoring of all undergraduate students admitted to Michigan State University with fewer than 56 credits (exceptions: the Colleges of James Madison, Lyman Briggs and the Residential College in the Arts and Humanitites). NSSC makes decisions concerning retention, recess, or dismissal.

Advisors assist students to understand the application of University administrative policies and procedures to their academic careers.

Student Administrative Services that NSSC provides includes:

  • Grading Policies (withdrawals from courses, repeat grades, incompletes)
