Are you trying to decide what major fits you? Unsure of what MSU has to offer? Do you already have some career interests but want to know more?  Have you taken the Spartan Interest Assessment (SIA)? Where should you start? Start by making a list of all possible careers & majors in which you might be interested and keep your mind open toward other careers that you might encounter in the Exploration process. Let’s Begin.

Spartan Interest Assessment (SIA)

The SIA & Holland Types can provide suggestions for careers, majors, courses, and volunteer opportunities, as well as student organizations.

Have you ever wondered what you can do with a particular major? MSU’s Career Services Network offers a resource titled What can I do with this major” and it has plenty of information for each major.

What degrees are offered at Michigan State University? MSU offers over 100 degrees. Take a look at the Academic Program Catalog

Are you looking for additional information about certain careers, such as median pay, on the job training, etc. The U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics can provide this information.

Additional assessments to help with the exploration process are also located at the Career Services Network.
