Online Engagement Center

Thank you for your patience during this time of transition. On March 11th, MSU suspended face-to-face instruction and has moved coursework to virtual instruction. The NSSC has developed a way to assist students in your online learning. We continue to be committed to empowering all undergraduate students to pursue knowledge, access resources, and develop skills needed for intellectual, social, local and global success. The Engagement Centers offer free online academic support using zoom, a video conferencing software that you can use on your phone or computer.

  • RecSports and Fitness

RecSports and Fitness is providing two options to fulfill the virtual fitness needs of the MSU Community: ZOOM and Fitness on Demand (FOD).

    1. ZOOM links participants to ‘live’ classes by RecSports Group Exercise Instructors.  The links are published on the RecSports Google calendar just like previous building based schedules.  An online calendar is available at the following link, Group Exercise Schedule.  There is no signing up in advance and just like a face2face class, they occur on a particular day/time.  These classes are free of charge--download the ZOOM app on your phone or laptop.

    1. FOD is a library of pre-recorded videos, the same system installed at IM East.  Access is for the MSU community only (those with msu.edu email addresses).  Send a request to kegler@msu.edu with FOD-FLEX in the message line.   An invite link is sent and the individual sets up a free account (no credit card info is requested).  This allows the individual to access 400+ workout videos which can used any time, at your convenience.
