Dr. Jun Fu is the data analyst for the Neighborhood Student Success Center (NSSC). With rich experiences in higher-education research, teaching, and program evaluation, she leads or conducts holistic assessment and data analytics activities for the Center and other Pathway Programs with a lens of DEI. D’Wayne Jenkins is the Neighborhood Director for the South Neighborhood, located in Holden hall. D’Wayne joined Michigan State University in August, 2018. He has his BS in Biological Sciences and his MS in Workforce Education and Development from Southern Illinois University and has earned his Doctorate of Philosophy from Central Michigan University.
Kristi Porrell is the Executive Assistant to Dr. Genyne L. Royal in the NSSC Central office, located in the Union. Kristi has been working at Michigan State University since 2014. She has her BA in Marketing from Michigan State University. Kristi enjoys helping students succeed in their time here on campus and collaborating with everyone in our unit.
Dr. Genyne L. Royal is a dedicated professional with over 20 years of experience in the field of higher education as a scholar/practitioner in student learning and development, academic resilience and student success. Amanda Scharnweber is the Engagement Center Assistant in the Brody Neighborhood. Amanda has been working at Michigan State University since 2001 and with the NSSC since 2013. She has her Associates Degree in Commercial Art and Graphic Design from Lansing Community College. Amanda enjoys being a part of a welcoming environment for all students and collaborating with different partners across campus to reach our goals.
